One of the things I most loved loved about the last Autumn was the great generosity of jar swapping that went on! Crab apple jelly, damson jam, later on spiced pears. Getting ready for Autumn?
One of the things I most loved loved about the last Autumn was the great generosity of jar swapping that went on! Crab apple jelly, damson jam, later on spiced pears. So when I saw that Angel in the Garden was crocheting lids for jars, well, aren't they nice?? I think they're also in the set text?

I am still not convinced about crochet jam jar covers - I am sure mine would get sticky and spoiled! But I guess they would make a present look pretty.
ReplyDeleteOnce you have done all the orange hats, will you use the leftover wool to crochet co-ordinated lids for jars of marmalade?
