There was a very delectable spread of goodies as, of course, our followers have come to expect
A Christmas tree
Canapes and pate with crackers and very gooey cheese
Some crochet work on display
Anne wore her Christmas slippers
And of course Santa just had to make an appearance! Thanks to B for the Santa pressies, very thoughtful.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone. Hope to see you in 2013.
Super night. Super post! Thank you all xx And indeed a Merry Christmas and a Hooky New Year!
ReplyDeleteMags, your ripple blanket is amazing. Is it finished .?
ReplyDeleteI thought I would finish the repetition I'm on and then do another one, but having seen it out properly last night I think I'll just finish this repetition. Although ideally I'd like it to to cover husband when he's lying on sofa, so will test that out tonight! May need the original plan after all!!
DeleteLove the ripple blanket Mags! what is holding the ferrero rocher tree together?
ReplyDeleteHi Angela
DeleteHolding the Christmas tree together we have oasis, polystyrene, cocktail sticks, a small length of bamboo, and some green and/or gold paper to cover the joins! For the complete recipe you will have to be put in contact with our resident tree-maker, Lorna. But then, of course, it may be one of Santa's little secrets :-)
So sorry to have missed it. Was watching my six year old imp act the part of a Wiseman - Hollywood beckons I reckon! Wishing you all a peaceful and blessed Christmas. P.s. Mags, the ripple looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteCall round for ripple/play/mince pies over the hols if you're around x
